Researchers with limited prior experience play a prominent role in our research program. Those interested in technical work with prior exposure to light microscopy, animal behavior, electrophysiology, or zebrafish husbandry can expect to drive an independent project while also supporting the rest of the lab. Students interested in directed study can expect to learn essential lab skills while supporting an ongoing project and being challenged to propose their own research questions. Those interested in a full-time position are encouraged to contact David directly (dehrlich@wisc.edu).
